Last weekend 26 lucid members ran (or drove!) 175 km during the 40th Batavierenrace. Proudly, with acidified legs and a bit of a hangover the team returned to Eindhoven after a booming party. As for the facts: we turned 242nd! The fastest guy was Florentijn Proost with 15.73 km/h and the fastest girl was Naomi Verdaasdonk with 11 km/h. Across the world, many people have heard of Dutch design: the Netherlands is known for cutting-edge, innovative work. However, few can say exactly how the Netherlands became so successful. At the exhibitionConnecting Concepts, visitors can get a glimpse of the Netherlands’ secrets of success. The exhibition will remain open at the Designhuis in Eindhoven through Sunday 20 May. It was previously on view at various venues in India and China.
